About Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. 2 Year Programme)
In India, Bachelor of Education( B.Ed.) is a course offered for those interested in pursing career in teaching. The B.Ed. degree is mandatory for teaching in primary ,secondary and higher secondary schools. The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed. course is Bachelor of Arts ( B.A. ) or Bachelor of Science ( B.Sc. ). While students from arts stream are trained to teach subjects like History, Civics, Geography and Languages, the students from science stream are trained to teach Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The students from Commerce stream are trained to teach Subject Commerce. After B.Ed., students can pursue Master in Education ( M.Ed.) in Indian universities. * Rs. 1500/- Caution Money one time received which is refundable after completion of B.Ed. course.
